KS Dance a part of the Centenary Celebrations

KS Dance Allegrodance Touring Company performed at the 100th Anniversary of Alder Hey Hospital, in Liverpool, on 19th & 20th July 2014 to help raise money for new projects at the hospital and to inspire and create joy for the patients and their families of Alder Hey.

The performances included our Hip-Hop fusion and excerpts from the ballet A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The weekend was hugely successful and the children of Alder Hey hospital were able to have their pictures taken with all the fairies from the Shakespeare’s classic.

Sir David Henshaw commented: We would like to take this opportunity to say a quick thank you to your tremendous support on the Centenary Celebration Weekend which took place over the last weekend. We couldn’t agree more with your Facebook post: The students of our Allegrodance Touring Company performed spectacular pieces from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hip-Hop Fusion with style and charisma helping to inspire and create joy for all who attended. Especially the current patients of the hospital.

Sir David Henshaw continues: Thank you again, Kate. Please send our best regards to your team, dance students, and most importantly, Charlie, your father and our retired chief medical photographer.

We look forward to working with you again in the near future.
